The post on snoring made me think of this. Do you find that your hearing has become more acute, the better to hear wee bunny noises? It’s as if they make sounds frequently, but at really soft decibles. I was able to notice the smallest thing. Tell us what sounds you have noticed.
My example: Spockie and I were visiting his grandparents, and we were in the kitchen/family room. I was at the table playing cards with my mother while he had scooted behind the lounger, presumably to lounge in his favorite corner for napping. (about 12 feet away.) Hidden from view of course. All was quiet and serene.
Out of the blue I said quietly, “He’s up. He’s washing his face.”
Mum: “How do you know that?”
Me: “I can hear him.”
Mum: “I don’t hear anything. He’s napping.”
Me: “No, he’s awake. Go look.”
Mother proceeds to tip toe over to chair and peek behind it to see if he’s asleep. He is on his back legs, washing his face with his front paws. Mother looks at me in amazement.
