  Hi, I’m niki and I have found two offices that do bunnies!!!
  I live in Akron Ohio, so if you know any other ones near-by I’d love to check em out!
  
  My cat/dog vet is a surgeon at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital on Cleveland-Massillon Rd and I’ve found several bunny owners who mention it.
  This is most likely the place I’m going to go because it’s where my cats/dog’s surgeries have all taken place, but I don’t know how well they do with bunnies.
  The second place I found is Stow Kent Animal Hospital/Portage animal clinic. I’m not sure yet which I’d go to, their website is wetreatpets.com (not sure if I’m allowed to put that) and it’s kinda confusing me but doesn’t state they actually do rabbits.
  If anyone’s gone to either of these places I’d love some feedback. I doubt if I call they’ll tell me “we suck at caring for bunnies but we still do it!”
  
  Is it mostly the animal hospitals who have rabbit specialists? Also, what’s the average cost of a bunny visit? I don’t mean to sound cheap, I just want to know because my cat/dog visits are usually out of this world, and I’m guessing bunnies probably cost more?

  Thanks for the link. That’s where I found the Barberton location. I haven’t been able to locate opinions of the places from pet owners that have actually gone there. I guess I just want to be told that “yeah, that’s a nice place” or “I wouldn’t take my bun there”

  I’m from southwest Ohio so I cant be much help w/ finding you a vet. But I can tell you that not all bunny vets are at animal hospitals. We have several great vets around here at normal vet offices. My vets charge $37/per visit. The spays for my girls were about $130 and for my boys about $80. But those prices also included follow up vet visits after surgery.
  I looked at the website you posted and most of those vets studied at OSU. That is where my vet studied and they have a great rabbits program so I am sure at least one of them is bunny savvy. But the only way to truely know is to call them and ask them how often they get rabbits. Remember that rabbits are still considered to be “exotic” pets so that can make a difference in how they charge for them too.
  If they don’t treat rabbits they should have a place to refer you to.

  Thanks Heidi! I like your vets prices! I will be calling to make sure they’ve got someone who has handled rabbits with wonderful results.
