Poor Digger!  He has no idea that he will no longer have his elusive bunny balls at this time on Monday.

The vet the rescue referred me to has the best price by far of any other vet I called.  $110 (about half of what the other vets quoted)  and they take care credit!  I have a care credit card with a $2000 limit!  This is fabulous news!

I hope my poor boy gets through this OK.  He seems so happy at my house, I don’t think I will handle it well if he gives me the bunny stink-eye for a few days following his “procedure”.

I know spay/neuter is a good thing.  I actually won’t hear of NOT neutering cats and dogs…but I’ve never neutered a small animal before.  Do they bounce back fast?

The males usually bounce back pretty fast in my experience.

          That is a good price.

It is a great price..and the bunny stink eye doesn’t last too long. Coco is clearly feeling really good post spay, and by all accounts it is easier for boys.

I just want to say I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL MONDAY.  That little booger keeps peeing on me!  He has also peed on the couch (Good thing it was a free one from Craigslist).  He’s figuring out the litter box, which makes me happy.  I still find stray poops in the cage but no puddles.

Despite the peeing thing Digger is so cute!  He’s almost like a dog!  He hops up on the couch and stands right next to me like “pet me”.  If I don’t move fast enough he nips at my clothes like “Ahem…I said PET ME NOW.”  I honestly don’t know how two families could have had this amazing rabbit and throw him away.

As for those bunny babies…I moved their food bowl into the litter box with the hay (it’s a very large litter box) so hopefully I fill find less than a pound of poop on the floor of the cage.
