So I think maybe I hear Coco snoring – it is a little squeaky noise – rhythmic with her breathing and she seems pretty conked out – but in a bun loaf type position.

Also – she hs taken to sleeping on a rug next to my side of the bed. Like she is a guard rabbit.

I totally gave up on trying to cage her at night – I just rabbit proofed the bedroom and let her have at it. The noise and the throwing of the litter just wasn’t worth the night cage… You could practically hear her yelling for the Warden….

If she’s not making those noises during the day, then yes buns can snore. You just have to be careful though if she’s constantly making the noises (awake and asleep), she could be sick.

Hahha, yelling for the warden! She must be thinking to herself “man, its about time this human got trained!” And my Dad would say a guard rabbit is the best kind, its the kind that a robber will trip over in the middle of the night

I’ve never heard my bunnies snore, but they do a lot of funny twitches and movements when they sleep.

No, she only makes the noise when she is in a sleeping-esque position …and certainly not all the time. If I call her name, she snaps up and gives me the eyeball.

I just find it really quite funny that I have a snoring rabbit….

I remember being at the bun shelter one day – it was midday so lots of the buns were crashed out. I could not believe how loud some of them were snoring!!!
Just like us – some buns snore, some don’t.

My rabbit Mango in my avatar snores – the only one I have that does.

To be honest, I’ve never seen Ruff sleep. Everytime I pass his cage or look at him, his eyes are open. I thought that maybe rabbits don’t have that deep hard sleep that other animals have, but I guess they would have to.

yeah, yelling for the warden, or from cool hand luke saying that “what we have here is a faliure to communicate”.

Ruffles, bunnies are sneaky about sleeping. They do it…they just snap to half-attention if you pass by them! I’m still waiting to catch Lizzy alseep…I’ve got pictures of her in compromising positions half-asleep, but her eyes always open when I walk by… Robbie’s way too new for sleep. He meatloafs and glares out disapprovingly…
