Ok, So I haven’t been around a lot lately…busy busy busy! And just got back from vacation…but here’s the problem.
We left Boston w/ my boyfriend’s brother and sister (22 years old and 19 years old). We have left her there before, for a weekend, and things went just fine. Boston got fed, watered, hay, medicine, and plenty of play time.
Well this time, they decided to set up Boston’s play pen up in the laundry room rather than the living room in the basement where the brother spends his time. The laundry room has a door, so that way they could keep the dog from pestering the rabbit. We left her there from Friday night till Wednesday afternoon.
Not only was my poor little bunny locked up in a dark room for god knows how long, she was out of hay, and the floor of the playpen was so littered w/ poop and pee, its obviously no one paid any attention to her, let alone got down on the floor and played with her!
Her litterbox was overflowing, literally and everything was just nasty and dirty, including Boston!
Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the free help from my boyfriend’s brother and sister, but seriously, if you don’t have the time or DON’T CARE about the bunny, then just tell me no and I’ll figure something else out. Of course when anything was mentioned to the sister about the situation (the sister who was sooooo excited to play with the bunny), she just said, “not my fault, Jorden was supposed to take care of the bunny”. HMMMPH! I’d love to treat her dog for a week, the way my bunny was treated!
Needless to say, Boston was very excited to see mommy and daddy and did multiple binkies once on her home turf!
