  So we started moving all my stuff. had everything put in the cars…pepper doing good in his cage in the back seat. he didnt like the air whoosh noise through the windows though but he was okay.
  
  Driving there, 30 minutes away from my new house, a guy in a truck changes lanes when i am passing him and pushes me off the road. i drive straight for as long as i can trying to slow down without spinning and hit gravel. took out 25 metal posts in the median. spun 4 times around and took out the entire front and rear end of the car. Totaled.
  
  I got out of the car and first thing i did was check on pepper. i was fine. pepper was fine but i was still worried. the paramedic wouldnt let me leave the ambulance and i was getting mad at him saying ”im fine! i just want to check on my bunny!” finally they gave up and let me go over there. pepper was absolutely fine just shook up. my dad was driving in front of me and saw the whole thing and first thing i made him do was put pepper in the front seat of the truck in the air conditioning. he was in there to calm down with no noises while we delt with police.
  
  I got in the truck my dad was driving and rode with peppers cage on my lap the rest of the trip. lol! i was so worried but he was soo happy there werent anymore whoosh air noises that he was hopping around in his cage and eating and drinking!!! what a good bun!
  
  well we made it here. since the guy who ran me off didnt make contact he doesnt have to pay for my car. so i have to get a new one now. I am all moved in and my dad is helping me build peppers pen now. i will take pictures and post them when we are done! Pepper LOVES the new house. he loves the ceramic tiles in the kitchen and theres nothing in there for him to get into trouble with so i let him in there and let him run around. he loves it!
  
  I am SOOOO HAPPY Pepper is okay. i was sooo worried. I did lose my fish thought we had to have a ceremony in the median for him. he was two and a half years old. i have had him forever it seems like

  and P.S. the Petsmart here sells Oxbow hay and food! i was excited about that lol!

  Oh my gosh – well I’m glad you are okay as well! That sounds terrifying. Of course I’m glad Pepper is okay too.
  
  I think that is such a shame that because that guy’s car didn’t make contact with your car, they cannot do anything. Sometimes it’s almost better to just have them hit you! but not really. I work in insurance so I hear about these things and I think they are crazy ridiculous.
  
  I’m so sorry about your fish though.

  Wow, good thing your father was there to give Pepper a place to cool off. I am glad to hear that you and your bunny made it through OK.

  That’s horrible!!! I’m so glad nothing worse happened, it sounds really scary! Give Pepper some extra head pets from everyone here

  thankyou guys! yeah it was bad, but i knew i was fine so i was more worried about pepper than anything.
  
  Bob i will definately give him lots of head pets! he deserves it for being so good!

  Yikes, that would be a heart-stopper for me. So glad you and Pepper are O.K. but am very sorry about the fish.

  I can’t believe how calm and collected your post was! Mine would have been full of bleeped swears and exclamation marks LOL
  
  I’m soooooooooo glad you’re fne and peppers fine, and I hope that guy gets in an equal wreck, but less lucky (Karma you know!) What a jerk!! And to add to the stress of moving. Man I can’t believe your ok after all of that, you must be a superb driver and very calm!

  OMG your poor girl! I am glad to hear that YOU are ok … I hope this guy stopped to see if you were alright . What a nasty experience. Sorry to hear about your car … what an inconvenience for you.
  
  If you are not feeling alright in the next few days, make sure you visit a GP for your own sake.
  
  I am also happy to hear that bun is ok … shame about fishy

  KandK- Lol i thought about cursing and things, but i figured if i started i wouldnt stop and the whole post would be flow of random letters and symbols! lol! I am a pretty good driver, I have never had a ticket or a wreck or even a bump since i have been driving for five years! It was really stressful though!
  
  Dawn – Yeah the guy stopped…he didnt seem to care too much though. made me mad. I will definately make a visit if i start feeling bad, but i am sure everything is fine. And yeah i was sad about my fish, but as bad as it sounds, at least it was the fish that died and not pepper!

  yes he definately almost did! he was sprinting down the highway holding his flip flops, he broke them running the first few feet! hes a good dad

  I remember last year when my car was in the smash repairer … I missed my car so much … its amazing how much we take them for granted.

  yes i had insurance…but only liability…so sadly i have to find some way to get money, right now im borrowing my dads old car, it was the one he used before he got his new saturn. its a chrysler new yorker…a giant living room on wheels lol!

  thankyou guys! yes i will definately keep you all posted! Today i talked to the insurance agent of the man who ran me off the road. She said that from what we have told her she doesnt believe that there is more than 20 percent damage done to the car or that it is totaled. so i sent her the pictures and told her to look up the value of the car on blue book because the damage cost soars over the actual value of the car! im supposed to get a call back today but i dont think that they will pay for any of it.
  
  oh an i should say the retail value of my car is 2500, a new bumper for the car is 300, a new tail light is 260, plus the cost of the radiator (busted), the replacement of the bumpers, the front headlights, a new paint job, a new hood, a new trunk lid, a new steering axle…..hmm…im pretty sure the car is totaled. lol!

  yeah i think you will be getting the value of it, if they deny you a claim then you can sue them, they have to pay you the full value if it was their clients fault.
