NO for Cotton not me. The vet here is neat. They have a website. I emailed for the appointment. they emailed me back and the email is on their website. It is just like yahoo or gmail they have inbox and everythign on the vet’s website. Cool.

I am sure Cotton would like his teeth shortened. I read the emails about the teeth someone else posted. I could do it myself wow. Since his are just too long not crooked or anything. I would rather go to the vet for that and if she thinks I can do it she will show me. Otherwise the vet is a good option for Cotton. I can see him getting terribly upset if I did it. Once I know how that is.

Also I can see him as I put him on the exam table continously jumping into my arms. Hehehe.  Wha who me?

Poor Cotton – I think it’s best to have the vet do these procedures – is it his molars or his incisors?

If the front teeth are maloccluded, it is pretty obvious as you can see the teeth growing in strange directions.  If one of the back teeth is involved, only a vet with an otoscope can tell for sure.  The symptoms of teeth problems are refusal or lack of interest in eating, chewing that looks labored or the bunny winces when they chew, and drooling or wet face.  Sometimes a case of GI stasis is started by teeth problems that prevent the bunny from eating enough fiber, which then gets the GI tract out of balance.
