Sure watermelon is just fine for them. Safe and full of fluids. Have a go.

Watermelon is O.K. though it has a lot of sugar in it so be careful.  Although watermelon is not specifically listed on the BB list here: https://binkybunny.com/Default.aspx?tabid=144 The generic catch-all “melon” is listed so you can assume that pertains to all melons including watermelon.

                    Banana – very small amount
red & yellow peppers are fine minus the seeds
                    mushrooms – no
celery – as long as there are no strings in it so you would have to peel it

Just one addition, cut the celery into small pieces too.

What’s wrong with celery strings?  I’ve fed Noelle celery before without peeling it and she eats it all just fine and doesn’t have any digestion problems.  Did I just luck out?

Also – why can’t rabbits have mushrooms?  I’ve never fed them and don’t plan to, I’m just curious.

Strings are just like fur…basically if you chop them up they are fine You just don’t want them to get all tangled up in their tummies.

Not sure why mushrooms aren’t OK, but they definitely aren’t -though I doubt they’d even want to eat them

intersting to know about celery, i only ever cut it into sticks not into small bits because thats how i eat it (you know like cut into carrot stick shapes?) so i will remember to cut it into little pieces next time.

Also the thing with celery strings is that they can lodge in between bunny teeth. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to even attempt flossing my guy’s teeth. Yikes! Mushrooms are a fungus and not technically a “vegetable.” I *believe* they can throw off a sensitive bunny GI tract.

Ah yes – the fungus thing makes sense.  I guess from now on I’ll have to be more careful about those celery strings!  Thanks!
