I love her!!! Its as though shes always been a part of our family. She has so much personality.. i was surprised because Rain has always been an amazing outgoin bun’ i didnt think it was possible to get that lucky again but we did.. Abbie even pushes her nose to your face if you make kissy noises at her. Gosh I love that rabbit! She actually does amazingly well considering her long ears -

She has such expressive eyes. The intelligence behind them is so strong.*sigh* I just have to say, I wish there were other forms of ID on a bun other than tatooing or chipping…or any other animal for that matter. I saw so many tatooed bunnies at the fair and I really don’t like how it can detract from their natural beauty.
And chipping..well, too “Revelation-ary” for me. *shudders*

Knowle: sorry but I will never *not* want abbie… she cost us alot of money to get from the breeder, transport, exc on top of the obvious unbelievable love for her lol Her and Rain are here to stay, no questions asked haha… She came from an amazing breeder in North Florida who really goes above and beyond… her house is clean and beautiful, her rabbitry is amazingly clean, everyone has clean water, fresh hay, clean cages, exc.. She is very organized too which is a plus, she sent Abbie with her pedigree (and is sending us an updated pedigree with picture of her, buyer info, exc) electrolytes because she was used to having them in her water, at least a months worth of food for slow transition, penacillin g (?) for any little nicks she might get in her ears & wormer for when she turns six months.
Mimz: I have a HUGE hard drive on my computer… when i ordered it (dell) i had them put extra memory space in it. I do photography as a hobby so i have to have a ton of memory. I delete about 5,000 pictures a year from my computer which helps keep it running fast
I take at least a thousand every two months, on a slow month i might take a couple hundred. I think shes super expressive too.. and shes very smart and sooo sweet!! Tattooing is ugly but honestly, we requested she had her tattoo done before coming home. Its ID for her and less invasive then a chip. We were going to have rain and abbie both chipped when they got/get spayed but we didnt have rain done.. i want to do more research before i do it. It is ugly and stands out in the picture but considering how many photos ive taken thats the only one you can see the tattoo in so at least it isnt as gawdy big as some ive seen. -
Yes, the ones I saw at the fair were much darker and rather nasty looking. This one is at least minimal and, yes, sadly they are necessary. It’s just better safe than sorry. I’ve been debating having my little cat done because he tends to bolt when the door opens and I just *know* he’s going to get lost some day.
I could guess you are a photographer. Your work is excellent! Hobby? I think you should go pro! ^_^
I know *I* would pay to have you photograph my bunnies! ^_^

wow, thanks Mimz!! I do it as a hobby strictly. I have had a few people ask me to do photos of their family but its just too much pressure for me. I would rather enjoy taking photos of my kids and pets. I have a nice gallery on my pc of wildlife that i love sharing, might make a thread of them just for teh sake of sharing

Pam… if memory serves me shes in inverness florida, somewhere north of tampa.. i didnt select her, the breeder and the family who helped with her transport did lol. Thanks for the compliment.. its so much fun to have her to photograph, shes so different and offers different angles for photography because of her long ears.
