  We got a “free” bunny the other day from the petstore. We already have two male bunnies-one neutered, one not. The petstore said it was a female, but it is definetly a male. I flipped him over and found what looks like one testicle, but when we picked him up from humping us, it was apparent that it was a male. Is it possible for only one testicle to have dropped??
  
  This is our fourth bunny, all males and none of them has ever done what my son calls “drive-by” peeing. All of my boys have been free range bunnies, but everytime I let the new one out he pees on me. I can handle cleaning up puddles and poops, but I don’t like having bunny pee all over my clothes! I’m unemployed right now and can’t afford to have him neutered. Is there anyway to control the spraying??
  
  I live in the Southern California High Desert. Does anyone know of a bunny experienced vet in the area?

  Definitely neutering is going to help-and the sooner the better; it’s possible to have a hard habit to break once neutered if they sprayed alot. I’m sure someone soon can help you with a vet-there are lots of CA members! and Welcome to binkybunny!

  welcome here… haven’t you ever heard there’s no such thing as a “free” pet? lol.
  
  neutering is really the only thing you can do, and like K&K said, even then it’s not always a 100% solution. can you contact a nearby shelter and see if they know of any low-cost neuter programs. i’m also concerned about the other unneutered boy, as that will increase territorial behavior betw/ them as well.

  Thanks Beka. I’m keeping a close eye on them when I let the new one out. I just hate having to confine him, its sooo mean. We’ve only had him for a couple of days. Do you think if we leave him in the cage that he will calm down? He’s actually the sweetest bunny we’ve ever had. He doesn’t mind being picked up and he licks our feet when he’s calm and will even eat food from our hands. so I don’t want to lose that. And yes I know there is no such thing as a “free” pet. We’ve had a couple of those! I’m a sucker for a cute face!
