Today at work we found 3 tiny baby bunnies in the courtyard area where everyone goes to smoke. They are so cute! We have seen the momma around before but just noticed the babies.  I wish i would have brought my camera today so i could get some pics.

about 2 hours after we found them. One of my bosses went out to smoke and a baby bunny came running inside! All the old ladies were screaming , cause it kinda looked like a mouse, lol. But someone caught it and put it back with the other babies. So cool i get to go to work and see bunnies too .  I can’t wait to watch them grow .

Just thought i’d share that with all you bunny lovers

We have a bunny here too; He showed up as a baby two years ago, and at first we thought he was hurt because he let us approach, but he was fine-and I was tickeled to see him still in our court yard when I came back a few weeks ago!

I’ve actually seen him binky and flop !!

so i have an update about the baby bunnies at my work. Some dumb woman at work called a rabbit rescue here in oklahoma telling them she had three babies they needed to come get cause they have no mommy. She knows DA*@ good and well they have one cause we have seen her. I dont think she told the rescue that they are wild rabbitts either so they are making a long drive for nothing. I am Soo mad at her. She is keeping a secret from the boss cause she would get in trouble. That momma bunny is going to be so sad when she comes back to no babies. Should i tell on her?  I hate to be a narc  but this makes me soo sad and mad.

she has them in a box in her office!!!   grrrrr….  sorry just really mad

let me know what yall think

I could call the rescue and tell them i guess but the lady is going to be here any minute.

if i get a chance i will tell the lady when she gets here, i hope i can

I’d just take the buns and put them back out if they are wild hares. Make sure to talk to the rabbit control people too about it. There is a difference though if they are feral buns and not wild ones. It would be in the baby’s best interest to go with animal control if they are ferals.

Well, they came and got them . The lady that picked them up said they were wild and that they usually dont take them in but they look really dehydrated so they won’t make it too much longer. So she took them and said she would try to care for them at the rabbit rescue, then release them in the wild later. I think maybe the reason they might be dehydrated is cause this dumb woman keep putting them in a box and who knows how long she kept them in there. I just really hope they make it and the mommy dosen’t come back sad cause she has no babies.

i don’t know if its like this everywhere but in Oklahoma its illegal to keep wild animals. You can get a big fine.
