I was wondering is rabbits will stop eating when they are full? I think goldfish or some other animal would eat themselves to death. My bunny eats every last piece of hay, pellets and vegetables i give him

Are you measuring out his pellets? If not it sounds like you should.

I have some rabbits that gobble everything up and some that graze and nibble so I would have to say it depends on the rabbit.

i agree with Sarita, pellets must be rationed.

you want them to eat as much hay as they want, if he’s going thru all his hay, you might want to start refilling it more often, it should always be available. veggies are very healthy and good for fiber and hydration, so i don’t think there’s a problem if they eat a lot of them, as long as they are ones that are not too high in calcum, or known to cause digestion problems, and the poop is normal. pellets must absolutely be limited. they should make up just a teeny tiny percentage of the overall diet.
