Did you ever think you would pick up poop with you hand’s and it didn’t bother you? Did you every think all your friends would think your crazy except for the one’s on your bunny groups?

did you ever think that you would drive home at lunch just to make sure your bunny was eating?

Did you ever think you would one day be in a competition with your sister to see whether her dog was smater than your bunny? My bunny won I’m sure, he can jump through a hoop.

Did you ever think you would be ordered around by 2.5kg ball off fluff and actually understand what the ear flicks, head motions and head butting mean? I was a dog person before so really no! But luckily my bunny is all things good about dogs and all things cheeky about bunnies so we’re a good match.

Did you ever think you would be driven to the depths of despair by the rejection of a fuzz butt?

OR

Did you ever think you would be lifted from the “depths of despair” by a cuddle and lick from your fuzz bun?

Did you ever think you would spend most days trying to think up ways to make your bunnies homes more comfortable and enjoyable for them?

Did you ever think you would have a bigger to do list for your bunny sitter than for your baby sitter?

I have a fridge full of veggies…seems a shame that only Lizzy gets to enjoy them! So I’ve muddled some of her mint in my rum-and-coke. And bought some fingerling potatoes to roast with her rosemary. And in the past, every time I tried to make something Italian, I only had moldy forgotten parlsey, or none at all…and now I KNOW I have a ton!

Still trying to figure out what to do with Endive, though… Every recipe I found is for Belgian Endive, not “chicory” endive… Looks awfully tough to me… I’ve never had it, and it may forever in my mind be “rabbit food”!

Did you ever think you would have complete conversations with your rabbits – and speak for each and every one of them in their own “special” voice? Infront of company? And not care?

Did you ever think anyone would command the household better than your kids? Or your cat? @_@

Did you ever think you’d spend all day online playing a funny bunny flash game (thanks rabbitsmba!) or watching a YouTube video of a cute bunny cuddling his carrot and singing?

Did you ever think you would get “itchy” fingers that just HAD to get that little loose puff of  fur off the bum of your molting bunny? (If you weren’t an obsessive-compulsive person before, molting bunnies can turn you into one.)

bwahhahahaha… i know what you mean bb!   pinky gets so irritated with me when i try to pluck loose chunks of fur from her bottom.

Sazemoo, I uderstand completely! I’m moving from my lovely apartment because my husband insists on Chalrie having a garden to run around in. I personally don’t get it because we have a small paved area with a tiny tiny garden/lawn and my bunny hates it. Maybe it’s just cold on his feet…

Did you ever think that you wuold pack more things for your bunny on holidays than yourself, and that he’d get more toilet breaks than you?

Did you ever think yu would drive in circles for hours and hours trying to find a pet friendly motel only to find yourself sneaking a small cat carrier into a Best Western.

DId you ever think that you would be paying $25 in shipping to ship hay in a box to your house?

Did you ever think you’d lie on the ground twitching your nose at an animal trying to communicate that you are not threatening?

Rabbitsmba – I died laughing at yours because I tell all my company what each bunny is “saying to them” in the bunny’s voice.

Did you ever think you would spend almost a whole months rent on something you just have to have because well, they deserve it for being so cute?

Did you ever think you would drive for almost 6hours to pick up a bag of litter?

Did you ever think you would be on holiday for 2 weeks spending 20mins a day on the fone to see how the bunnies are? And only 5 to see how your family are coping haha

did you ever think you’d be making bunny salads at 8 am, and then realize later that day at 4pm… that YOU haven’t even eaten yet… but then you STILL put it off to clean litterboxes FIRST!

my son comes first, my bunnies a close second, i don’t even make the list… LOL!!!!!

oh yeah. he is important too. he builds the bunny houses and pays for everything… lol!

i made all my bunny condos and stuff, he paid, which i thought was fair seing as he would only have done it wrong anyway *sigh* lol

Be writing a bulleted list for your significant other to follow TO THE LETTER while you are away so that the bunnies do not go without their basic needs?

(Oh yah…and maybe you put up some food so the sig. other eats too, but, hey, only if you’ve got time.)

lolz…my poor hubby had the delightful designation of bunny caretaker while my daughter and I spent a night in town with my mum-in-law the other night so we could all get up early for a crack of dawn train ride to the local national park. We knew there’d be no other way to get my girl to get up in time otherwise…but BOY were we worried something might happen to the bunnies while we weren’t there.
My daughter made a firm point of reminding the hubby that the bunnies were NOT for consumption, that he was to feed them, nt the other way around. (Like he would.) And also warned him that if he failed to do his duty that he’d better take an earlier train because that was all the head start she would give him.
lolz…gotta love her! ^_^
