that’s quite a house you’ve got there! lol!
here is the page for the BinkyBunny diet section. binkybunny.com/Default.aspx
you can also find it under the bunny info link at the top of the page.
your 7 month old boy can be restricted to about a 1/2 cup pellets per day. your girl can probably be down to 1/8-1/4 cup depending on her weight. the general rule is a 1/4 cup for 5 lbs of bunny, but that does vary. they should both be on timothy based pellets (without any seeds or cereal pieces). if your boy was on alfalfa-based before 7 months, he can be weaned off of it now. when you limit the pellets, they will end up eating more hay, which is better for their digestive system.
i have a copy of the veggies list i keep in my purse, just so i don’t forget. anything new that you introduce, do it carefully over about a week so you can make sure it does not upset their tummies.
i had an iguana when i was younger. after a couple years i ended up having to surrender him to a sanctuary. he was getting big (like they do) and i was completely prepared to keep him and build a gigantic enclosure, the whole nine yards. i was looking forward to it, but my parents vetoed the idea and there wasn’t much i could do, living in their house and all. i did love that guy tho!
if you want to share some pics of your crew, we’d love to see them!
