I just rescued a ferret with adrenal disease from a neglectful owner, so I won’t be around here much for a while. He’s going to need surgery, a lot of tests done, and extra care. He is a total sweetie!! His name for now is “Chewie”. Chewies’ owners didn’t understand that when ferrets lose all the hair on their tail, stomach, and neck that it ment something bad. He is also missing all of his overcoat on his back. Chewie’s manly parts are also swollen and he has a hard time going to the bath room. He loves giving kisses and is learning how to play and be nice. This is his 3rd or 4 th home in 3 years and his previous owners didn’t really play with him at all! His nails are also so long when I was cutting them with the nail clippers I had to cut them 3 times to get them to a decent length! They hadn’t been cut in monthes! So I will try to keep you guys updated, but I’ll be very busy!! Try to get some pics soon!

(hugs!) i know you’ll be busy, but try to keep us posted on how his recovery goes.
