My buns eat timothy hay with out a problem..  should I also offer other types of hay or grass?  I noticed on the binky bunny shop there are different types of hay and grass and toys.

I have 4 buns but Zip seems to be the only one that likes to play with a willow ball that has a bell in it.  Bear prefers his card board paper rolls and his stuffed banana and lastly Bubba he prefers his card board paper rolls

Well, if they eat the timothy hay without a problem I say stick with what works.

You certainly could offer different kinds for variety but I would get just a small amount to try out with your rabbits to see if they have a taste for it otherwise you might be wasting your money and end up with a ton of hay they won’t eat.

I agree with Sarita! Don’t rock the boat! Edson has always loved timothy hay and I have had to switch to orchard because I am going away and the sitter is allergic to timothy!  So over the last couple weeks I have been getting him used to the different hays.  I ran out of orchard so I gave him some timothy which I still have tons of and he will not touch it now! I have wasted so much money on hay I am going to have to eat it myself! When I get back I really would like him to go back to the timothy and I’m afraid he won’t. It must be the orchard is much tastier.  Now I am also seeing a change in his poops from the change of hays (I think).  I personally would not deviate if you are having a lot of success with the timothy.

i would really keep with the timothy hay, and if you get another type from BB or somewhere else, give just a small handful (along with tim hay) a few times a week for a bit of variety.
