So i am going on holiday on saturday for almost 3 weeks and i am soo worried about the bunnies! They are in capable hands, my grandad is looking after them and i have shown him countless times what to do and they will be fine i know but still im worried!

And also i think Hopscotch may be an angora.. i wanted your guys opinions because when i got him most of his furr was cut off because he was so matted and stuff and now it is growing back he seems to have alot of hair all over his body, he isnt as hairy as the pictures i have seen from angoragrl but he is just as hairy on his body as he is on his head, does anyone else with lionheads find this?  Daxter isnt like that at all he is almost smooth coated on his body its just his head which is really fluffy but Hopscotch is pretty much the same length (his hair on his head is longer but only because that wasnt cut as short because it had less matts than his body so i tried to leave it as long as possible) so im abit confused by that, so anyones opinions would be appreciated!

I am going to the doctor today to ask him what he can give me for BB withdrawls while im away! hehe

Yeah, my Kibou is the same – and she’s definitely a Lionhead, not an angora (checked her pedigree). it just takes some lionheads a long time to either shed out or not …. I’m inclined to believe Kibou (now aged 10 months) might not ever shed out her face…she’s a fluffball!

The bunnies are going to be okay – don’t worry…. They are in good hands…!!

oh your bun has a pedigree. ok has to be lionhead then.  otherwise I would guess an english angora they have hair all over or a german which gets about 9 lbs  and also has hair all over  I know they are big. english angoras get about 5-7 lbs. biggest.  now the girl I got Ruby from has a lionhead with long hair alll over and is coarse not soft. and it is also a pedigree seems like she has lot of guard hairs making her feel coarse.  lionheads being a new breed are not a precise science yet. 1 1/2 yrs and cotton is just now growing his mane back little by little I had given up. also since lionheads came from jersey wooley or other angora breed they may have throwbacks too. or some take longer to shed out maybe even 2 yrs than others a lady from a  yahoo group said she gave up on her girl too growing her mane back then at 1 1/2 yrs it just bloomed and bloomed so you just don’t know with lionheads yet. and your bun could be a mix angora lionhead. also   oh boy english angoras I just luv them. they are so cute. if you want some websites to investigate let me know not all english angoras ears have that curl either. if the whole bun was matted bad very possible you have an angora. there are 4 types french, german  english and satin. it isn’t a satin cuz satin has hair only on it’s body …… with lionheads they don’t always grow the mane back either and can grow it back to shed it out later and be gone for good or bloom and bloom bigger than ever. I did a lot of research

oh wow I just read your profile looking for a pic of the bun. in your profile you say that the new bun is bigger then the lionhead you have had longest. well lionhead get no more than 3 1/4 lbs at the most  that is show standard and what even pet stores breed for. smallness. so if new bun is 5-7 lbs you may well have an angora. you will know in another couple of months
