well, my job is both…  lol.

think of it this way… if you’re doing laundry, you have to go and collect it from around the house, i think of dishes the same way…  but the bedroom person COULD bring them to the sink.  if the bedroom person is cleaning BEFORE the dishes person… that would make more sense.

I’m just coming up with all kind of funny reasons as to why there are dishes in the bedroom!

I voted for person A, however, whoever left the dishes in the bedroom should at least take them to the kitchen!  This is an ongoing problem in my house because my kids will leave their dishes in MY bedroom and it drives me crazy!

LOL – I’m with Sage Cat on this :~)

I would think the person that left the plates in the bedroom should take them to the kitchen.

How many dishes are we talking about…

PERSON B- SHOULD TAKE THE DISHES TO THE SINK ,AT LEAST AND  PERSON A- SHOULD RINSE IT AND PUT IT IN THE DISHWASHER. BUT REALLY, WHO EVER LEFT THE DISHES IN THERE SHOULD PUT THEM UP

                  HEHE, FUN POLL

I agree whoever brought them to the bedroom and left them there should take them to the sink are y’all hiding out from someone or some buns eating your dinner in the bedroom? hehe

Fifty fify!?!?! I need more votes please!!

OK, so you want to know why dishes in the bedroom? No good story really, just juice glasses taking them to bed.

But dishes free range all over the apartment since we opted for a ‘kitchen couch’ rather then a ‘kitchen table’ since we’d never sit there anyways…We totally eat whereever we are doing something LOL

That would be both of my jobs. Your lucky you have someone that will share the chores.

It’s funny, I’d actually be happy to do all the housework and cooking so long as I don’t have to work

                          Me=Housewife please!!!

I tipped the scale to 60/40. If person A’s job is dishes, then it doesn’t matter where they originate, they need to end up in the dishwasher/sink/cupboard. Especially if they don’t usually start at a kitchen table.

What I don’t quite get is the “Bedroom job.” Is it laundry? Making the bed? Setting the alarm? Getting a good night’s sleep on behalf of all residents? Vacuuming up dust bunnies?

I said person A just because when I do the dishes, part of the process for me is to go around the house and find all the dirty dishes and clean them up – but on the other hand, when there is a dispute I side with whomever loves bunnies – so whichever person you want – I agree!

The person who does the ‘bedroom job’ is laundry, vaccuming and the bathroom. The person who does the dishes does the kitchen living room and dishes.

Anyways Since he says it won’t sway him, Dave is person A-dishes person, and I’m person B-laundry person. I totally think he should have to take dishes out of the bedroom but he won’t….GRrrr …But I am getting a third (techinically a fourth) bunny so I guess I won’t turf him LOL

“He who maketh the dishes had best cleaneth them if he wants to eateth his next meal.”

At least, that’s the theory I live by here…unfortunately, I do wind up doing both.

a dish might appear in his sock drawer,,,just say you’re getting them, but missed that one…

(I’m bad. This could be why I’m not married…)

i’m with Mimz and Lisa… i’d love to have help. that is an awesome set-up you have. even on the weekend, i’ll ask Mike if he can help me rinse dishes and he says “yeah… in a minute… go ahead and get started.” well, i finish and he’s still on the couch!

AND… we don’t have a dishwasher. I am the dishwasher.

My input: The person who put them there should take them to the kitchen. Otherwise, the person who cleans the bedroom should take them and put them in the dishwasher. Everything in the bedroom is to be cleaned/tidyed up including taking the clutter i.e. dishes off the night stand, dresser etc. If it happens to be a dish, put it in the dishwasher for crying out loud.

Maybe there should be a new rule…”No eating in the bedroom.” Then the dishes would wind up somewhere else though, hm?
Of course, I should talk! I have a secret stash of snacks in my room and, although I don’t use dishes in there for them, there’s certainly crumbs all over the place. >_<
Not to mention bunny leavings, like hay and pieces of willow and stuff. 0_o I wonder if I could get THEM to take some of that work off my hands? (imagines bunnies in little aprons with tiny push vacuums in their paws and kerchiefs on their heads)

LOL Sounds like we’re all on both sides of the fence! Dave and I are at a standoff…mostly because it’s hard for us each to ‘out-lazy’ each other…we’re both procrastinators when it comes to cleaning!! ((Although, not as bad as my brother and his girlfreind…gross)) LOL

I think the dishes, because it doesnt matter where they are its still the job to do the dishes, like if your job is hoovering you wouldnt stop outside the bedroom door because thats the person who does the bedrooms job.. lol

…bunnies in aprons…they’re the worst offenders. They eat in their bedrooms every day!!!

Not even kidding there were crumbs in my bed last night and we don’t eat in their (just bring in cups for juice) so I’m wondering if one of the bunnies was eating in my bed….

K&K, if it was one of our bunnies it would have been eating the bed…
