You have to call them to order it but you cannot order it on-line.

Call them directly. There should be a phone number listed on the website.

Could I take this opportunity to ask, what exactly is critical care? I’ve seen you guys talk about it, but I’m not sure of it’s particulars. What does it do and what is it used for?
              Thankies!

Critical Care is a powdered food supplement that you combine with water to make a thin paste, then put it in a syringe to assist feed your bunny.  It contains timothy hay, various electrolytes, carbs and other nutrients.  It can be a lifesaver if your bunny starts to crash and you do not have access to a vet.

Thanks again, osprey! Wow, you’re sure helping me with the food questions today!
That sounds like something to have on hand. And we have to call Oxbow Company to get it? I’ll do that!

Not positive but I know it has an expiration date. They say you can freeze it to make it last longer too.

I have a large one and it’s best used by 11/08.

They make small packets now and I would suggest you purchase those to have on hand. They have new packaging and it looks like they come in packets now which is nice. Mine is 1 lb and I honestly don’t use it that often and I have 10 rabbits. Might have to give this to the guinea pig rescue since I know they will use it.

Ordered some yesterday and the nice lady said that after you open it you can freeze for up to 6 months. I ordered the small package for my buns to have incase of emergency.

Mine’s in the package, it has an expiration date of sometime in 2009; The vet who I bought it from on ebay (so who knows if it’s a vet…) said if you keep it in the freezer it lasts longer. The package has a zipper seal.

Also I’d recommend buying it in the banana flavour-or more specifically not buying it in the licorice flavoured one.
