I have planted all kinds of stuff for my guys. The herb garden that I planted last year mostly survived the winter and is going great guns now. I harvest a few sprigs each day as treats – chamomille, a couple of kinds of oregano, a couple of different sages, lemon balm. The basil did not survive the winter, so I replanted and that lasted about 2 weeks. I think the molluscs got it. The mint overwintered in my pots too, so it is coming back as well. The kids took all of our half empty seed packs and planted a bed just for the buns – carrots, a couple of kinds of radishes, a couple of kinds of lettuce, cilantro and parsley. Not sure what will come up, but it is fun to watch anyway. I love gardening for the rabbits because when things happen like radishes bolting to seed without forming a root, you just feed the leaves and flowers to the buns, they don’t care that the root did not form.
