okay i need your advice. i need to write a (or some) letter(s) to my city hall parks department regarding the animals kept at one of their parks. they have a farm animal display there with miniature horses, donkeys, lhamas, swans and other animals. they also have rabbits.
yesterday i was in the park for a family fathers day picnic (my dad’s memorial tree is also in this park… in another section… haha) and they had some city parks employees so i started chatting with the one girl and found out that none of the buns are spayed or neutered!!! i couldn’t believe it!
i’ve always wondered about the care these buns receive. i’ve never seen a hurt or obviously sick bun there and i know the anmal displays are well kept including the bunny area. but i think it’s terribly irrisponsible to let all those buns reproduce randomly. i want to check out this information (the girl may not know for sure) and find out more about how they’re cared for. all i know so far is that they’re moved into an enclosed space on the property in the winter time.
i want to find out how the buns are cared for, who loks after them, what vet treats them… that type of stuff. what i’m curious about is this… in your experience, what type of letter do you think would get the best response? a strongly but respectably worded letter or an innocently questioning letter?
