I learned never to let Cotton take a papaya tablet out of the bottle- she grabbed the rim and tossed her head- and there were papaya tablets everywhere!!  I am so used to letting my parrot pick his treat out of the jar, I did not realize that it was not a good idea to let Cotton attempt that.

I’ll keep my fingers crossed for Edson-= that he does not get a tummyache from his overindulgence.

The good thing about many of the Oxbow treats is they are not overly stuffed with sugar and fat. There is grasses mixed in, so it wouldn’t be the same as if he got into a bag of dried cranberries. Just keep an eye on him and his poops.

Aww..poor little guy. When I was about seven or so, my folks used to buy the vitamins for me that were chewable (I wouldn’t swallow pills even in high school) and they were shaped like little animals with the sugary side on one and the vitamin side on the other. I was in the kitchen getting my daily one and decided I liked the taste of those things so much, I ate almost the entire bottle. My parents didn’t find out until later and they rushed me to the doctor and everything. Turns out it didn’t do anything to me except make me a little hyper.
Here’s hoping Edson feels okay…he’s such a sweetie, it’s hard to get upset with them when they get into mischief, huh? Every time I see his piccy in your avatar, I think of Mimzy.
