earlier i was getting some greens washed for the buns.  it was during baby’s free-roam time and i temporarily left pink’s door unblocked so i could return with hands full & still get in.  out of the corner of my eye i saw miss baby bun scoot into pinky’s room.  pinky was in her enclosure but tears around like her pants are on fire when baby’s in there, so i zipped into the room to chase baby out.  i went to the side of pinky’s cage to shoo her out from underneath and by the time i looked baby was already running back out the door & into her own room.  she was only in there for seconds… just long enough to leave a nice puddle of pee uner pinky’s cage.  pinky disapproved immensely.

Sounds like Baby needs a citation.

It’s funny because you know Baby knew what she was doing was against the law, but she insisted upon doing it anyway. Little brat :~)

that’s funny! i wonder how they’d react being in the same room permanently.

HA! That’s funny! Our little Ella used to do that to the other bonded pair in the next room. Whenever she got the chance she would just run by at top speed and spray at their cage – WOW were they *pissed* off!

                  Rabbits are so funny!

So Miss Pinky Pants and Baby are not at all bonded? I didn’t realize they were in separate rooms. Oh that Baby…what a trouble maker!

nope… they’re not at all bonded.  lol.  i’m still a loooong way from giving up though.

i’m trying the stunt double method to try to get pinky used to baby’s scent and will also soon be switching them to each other’s enclosures back & forth.  eventually i will be setting their enclosures side by side.

we did make small progress with bonding sessions… baby backed down from defending her top bun status which surprised me.  but even so pinky was still too agressive to continue with bonding sessions so i had to switch tactics.  she’s so quick & would bite at baby’s face before i could stop her even when i was poised & ready .
