I have observed the funniest and most unusual thing ever: my bunnies wag their tails. I cannot recall having ever seen a bunny wagging its tail. Velvet does it a lot. She wiggles her little tail sideways, very fast and the next thing she does is binkies. She wags her tail when she is very happy and now, I’ve seen Dancer do this too! They wiggle the tail and then do the electric dance. It’s hilarious!!! Is this normal? Do your bunnies do this?

Also, Dancer got his name because he does the moonwalk a lot. When he is uncertain, he will walk like a dog, instead of hopping. His hindlegs go left right, left right, left right. It looks sooo funny! He will hop too but only when he knows where he is going. Sometimes, he does the monnwalk even when he knows where he is. Velvet never used to do this until recently. I think she is copying him. I’ve seen her walk instead of hop! Do they imitate each other? She never used to chew on anything and now that he is here (and he does chew!), I’ve seen her chew on things. She is a good girl though, she only chews on things she is allowed to chew on. She is very smart. I tell her ‘no’ once and she won’t do it again. He is not as bright as she is, but that’s ok.

Spockie used to wag and move his tail all the time. When he was excited he spun it in circles really fast like a helicopter. So cute!

Jack does that, and Bailey used to. Bailey used to do that when she was not happy with something, and Jack seems to do it when he gets excited about something. It’s one of those body languages that I haven’t quite figured out yet.

Meadow’s tail is quite expressive. it’s cute to watch. i have heard about buns getting behaviors or imitating other buns. for instance, with a very very shy rabbit, an outgoing friend may make them more adventurous.

Kay wags her tail when she wants to play or is feeling feisty – totally cute!

Winston loves to play the “mimic” game. I lay on the floor – he lays near me, I stretch out my legs – he stretches out his legs, I shake my head – he shakes his. It is really fun!

They also both “walk” if they are unsure about something.

Isn’t it fun to learn all of the things they do!!!
