I hate to say it but I’m pretty sure that “They’re coming to take me away…..” is older than Monty Python. I think it was a top 40 hit in the 60s. My big brother used to sing it constantly.Yep. Can’t believe it actually made it to Billboard though. Yikes, I spent years trying to get my own recorded stuff on that chart! 0.o; Ah well, the 60’s were a simpler time…. -
Got off topic a bit, but then, a good prescription is to take your mind off of feeling ill for a while.
I thought I was getting sick last month and my Dr. prescribed Allegra (I get no relief at all from Claritin, even though I have relatives who swear by it) and boy, did that fix it. An illness/allergy combo takes time, but once the illness is gone you might try the allergy meds again. Spring/Summer growing things abound.

Mimzmum–in regards to the shots! I did that…for like almost 4 years until I was taken off my mom’s insurance and then they were too expensive….I almost finished cuz shots usually go, twice a week, to once a week, to every other week, to once month, etc until you are at once a year. I was at the once a month phase…sometimes i wonder if i had finished and kept up w/ the yearly shots if i would be doing better…i am allergic to EVERYTHING!!!!
I am feeling a lot better ( I can breath!!!!) and I am thanking sinus meds and Mucinex for that! Unfortunately, my paycheck is gonna be real hurt by this (went from 35 to about 10 hours this week!
) Boston on the other hand is LOVING LIFE w/ me home 24/7 and all this run time!!! -
Hey, as long as you are not allergic to you bunny’s fuzz, then you are okay! ^_^
I use Clairitin now because I was a Benadryl baby and it makes me sleepy and cranky. So I don’t take it unless I am going to bed.
But what I found does wonders for blocked sinuses is any kind of herbal tea with yarrow or menthol in it. Clears me right up!
