Tucker is lounging doing a bunny flop, actually since his nose isn’t going I guess he’s napping…anyway…he’s got his back end to me and I can see his genital area the way he’s laying and there is like drops of watery fluid coming out of him.   It’s a pretty steady drop, drop, drop but it’s not like a stream or a spray…could he just be peeing in his sleep??? (he’s not yet neutered) Or does this sound like some kind of health concern?? I know I have read about like driblets meaning possible blatter infection..but not sure if this is exactly what is meant by that….

        Help!

Edited to add:  I just wanted to also add that he’s acting fine besides that.  He just got up a bit ago and is binkying around and sniffing things and trying to destroy his cardboard house.  Of course…while he’s up and moving though I can’t tell if these drops are still happening or not…

Hmm, it doesn’t sound normal, however I don’t have a lot of experience with un-neutered males rabbits. It could be a health concern and I think that I would have it checked out to be sure it wasn’t a bladder infection or something else.

I agree with Scarlet. This doesn’t sound normal to me. I have never seen that happening in a rabbit, and it is not a question that has ever come up. It might be a good idea to ring your vet.

Out of curiosity, do you find that your bunny hangs out for long periods of time in the litterbox, or doesn’t quite make it to the litterbox – puddles around the box?
