Atila is a 9+ pound lop.  She was surrendered to a shelter because she had a blocked tear duct and they could not afford to have a vet fix it.  This is an awesome video, she looks like a puppy following her foster mom around.

What a cool bun! Would the owners not have wanted her if the rescue was able to help with the vet bills?

Oh my word she is absolutely adorable!  I seriously  would consider adopting her but she is 3 times the size of Edson.  Do you think that would be impossible?  I just love her.  How could the foster mom give her up?  Has the tear duct healed or how do you treat that?

I can’t find her on the Watsonville site.  I’m not kidding I want her!

I would of course suggest a couple of dates with Edson and Attila first to make sure they’d get along – so don’t get too attached yet.

That would be hard to do being that she is in Watsonville! What an odd pair they would make.

Well I took Maryann all the way to Santa Cruz to make sure it wasn’t “Hate at first sight”. But you can work out with the volunteers how to do things. I’m sure that they could do what they did with Dono and bring her to one of their weekend showings in Santa Cruz and meet you halfway.

She is magnificent .. no wonder you want her … I would love to have a bun like that.

I love her big floppy ears bouncing around as she hops and her cute tail sticks up hehe.

That is one huge gorgeous bunny lops.

Atilla’s adoption was finalized today!   She was adopted by a family who had adopted Hercules from The Haven, who is a special needs bunny that suffered a crushed jaw injury as a baby.  He cannot eat normal food, all of his foods have to be pureed.  Just as Atilla was about to be adopted as Hercules’ friend, Hercules started have serious GI issues and the adoption was put on hold.  Hercules is fine now, and the adoption is official.

I’m sad and happy.  Sad I didn’t get Atilla!  But happy she has a good home.  I just loved Atilla.
