Okay so some pics of Olivia are way past due! I’ve been so busy (darn Spring cleaning…) Anyways, she is doing really great and she is really becoming more affectionate although she still hates being picked up and is still peeing on the floor (she marks whenever she smells the boys). She lost all of the excess weight she had when I got her and is now nice and slim. Here are some pics of her run time the other day. She makes me laugh, she spends so much time chinning everything.
What breed/breeds do you think she is? I have no idea although she is very unique looking and I sometimes think she may be part wild rabbit as she has an unusual pointy nose and really long, skinny legs. Also her coat before she shedded was very coarse and rough and now that she is shedded out she’s so soft and smooth.
“I’m on High Alert mode”

“This is mine…” (chinning)

The kitten encounter

“Don’t you just love my Kate Moss legs?”

“This is mine too” (chinning)

“Ooh, this is mine…” (chinning again)

Awww, I love her colouring. Thank goodness you saved her from P.U.!
she’s very beautiful & elegant ![]()
don’t you just love it when they feel more comfy in their home & their little personalities start to emerge? i’m so glad you rescued her!
She is so pretty and dainty. Elegant is the perfect word for her!
Color aside, IMO, she looks ALOT like Kokanee; Very dainty face and figure!! She’s gorgeous!! Thanks for the piccies!!
Wow that is a beautiful rabbit you have!! Her legs are long indeed. Love those ears too and her blue coloring. House rabbits are a different species from wild rabbits and cannot interbreed, so she can’t be ‘part’ wild rabbit.
WOW!!! She is gorgeous! Yes, Olivia, I love your Kate Moss legs!
I love that name, too! It suits her perfectly!
She looks very feminine and delicate and just… beautiful! Now I need to do a search to read up on her story, where you got her from, and all that neat information on her! Gotta know more about Olivia! She looks like a pearl! I mean the gem, not any kind of rabbit type. I have no clue about the latter…
I LOVE HER COLOR. SHE IS SO PRETTY AND LOOKS LIKE A FUN SPUNKY GIRL!
Wahoo Olivia! She truly is elegant!
Love all the “This is mine” photos.
Olivia thanks you for all the nice comments
I didn’t know about wild rabbits not being able to breed with domestic rabbits. Interesting. I went to a few sites where they show pics of diff breeds and I can’t figure out what breed she looks like.
She is GORGEOUS!
Don’t the Harlequins have that brownish-greyish-bluish patchwork of color in their fur? She looks just like a cute little baby bun I saw in the petstore a few months ago (I was SO close to begging for him!), except this baby bun has more tan on his withers.
She’s a pretty, pretty girl. I love the long legs.
She kind of resembles the shape of a rex, and I wonder if you mix another breed with a rex you get the soft fur – sometimes?
I think she is a part Kate Moss, part Naomi Campbell and maybe a bit of Elle MacPherson?…
I love the crazy chinning! I use the same expen to let all my bunnies run around when it is “exercise time” and so for the first 10 minutes each time the bunnies chin at least 50 of the expen barss individually, and really do a long ruuuuuub to make sure their scent is all over it.
Olivia looks like she’s in great shape – you can definitely tell since she’s comparable to Kate Moss!
When Olivia pees to mark her territory, does she do it in the same spot most of the time? Or a spot where the other boys pee a lot? If so, you may want to try a different method of cleaning the pee to see if you can really get all of the scent out. I had the same problem with one of my boy bunnies, he always marked this one particular corner, but I spent a long time one day getting as much of the scent out as I could and now he doesn’t mark there any more.
hehe hopscotch is a right one for chinning too!!
your bun is very cute, congrats and yes i wish i had legs like that hehehe
lol @ rabbitpam! Love the comparison pic!
MooBunny- Olivia will pee a few drops if she comes by something (a toy, corner, etc) that has recently been super-chinned by one of the boys. My boys never pee out of the cage but Bindi sometimes leaves “little presents”. It’s very frustrating her marking everything with pee but I’m hoping this will be reduced when she gets spayed. Right now she is restricted to no-carpet zones.
wow. she is something else. i can’t stop looking at her pics. her legs are so cute… and i love her feet. her coloring is crazy. did she have any brown at the store? i think i remember her being straight gray. i can’t begin to guess what she is…
My bun FLopsy has the same colourings, she has a mix of the grey and brown, strange, as I’ve never seen it before until you posted your pics! Thanks!
how does she get on with the kittie?
All of my buns totally ignore my cats. They act like they are far superior! Stormy will boss the cats around if they get in his space. Olivia isn’t bothered by them, despite the fact the kitten thinks they are all toys for her!
Beka27- Before Olivia shedded out she had a lot of beige/brown fur that was in patches all over. I like her colour better when she is shedded out.
What a glamour girl … she truly is “chic”.
