  I just lost my beloved bunny of eight years, miss bazy may. she had a perfect life with me. she was full run 24/7. she had been ill on and off for about a year. she was like a cat with 9 lives.. she always bounced back.. but not this time.
  
  I have spoken to someone at a rescue organization. I was looking at all of the poor buns who need homes and i couldnt resist when i saw a particular bunny. they are so nice, they will transport him to me in a few weeks.. wish me luck!! he kind of lives far away.

  Hi Tez, sorry to meet you under such sad circumstances. My first bun was 8 when she crossed the bridge and as heartbroken as I was, I knew when the time was right I would open my home to more buns. That was her legacy and I am sure Miss Bazy would approve.

  I lost my bunny of 8 years last December (He’s my avatar picture) so I know how much of a loss it is.
  Circumstances prevent me from getting a new bun for several months at least, but I really, really want one. I think it’s lovely that you’ve found a new little guy. Tell us about him and post pictures!

  Welcome and I would like to express my condolences for your loss as well. It’s hard to lose someone close, especially a pet. i think.
  I’m fairly new around here too, but everyone here is very helpfull.
  I acquired both of my bunnies from a local rabbit rescue! I think it’s sad to see how many people out there breed rabbits, when there are soo many in need of homes in shelters!! So good for you for adopting!
