I have been lurking on these pages for a while now, but due to computer problems was unable to post any messages. But now hopefully those problems have been fixed, so without farther ado, please allow me to introduce myself and my rabbits.
My name is Nicole. I am 25. Orignally from Pennsylvania but now live in the Czech Republic with my husband, who is a doctor, and our two rabbits. I am an english teacher.
My two rabbits: one is an agouti french lop and the other a harlequin lionhead lop.
The french lop’s name is Mr. Floppy (my husband named him, honorific and all). He’s a neutered male, a little more than two years old. We‘ve had him since he was about 3 months. We got him from my husband‘s parents. They’re breeders. Floppy’s mother and father are real sweethearts and he has certianly followed suit.
Floppy is quite large, about 12 pounds. He was heavier but I put him on a diet a few months ago and he’s slimmed down some. His favorite things are are eating, sleeping, and getting pets. Floppy will eat almost anything and begs shamelessly, he runs into the kitchen everytime I open the fridge. Favorite snack: bananas, goes crazy for them. He is also an extremely laid back animal. Nothing much ever bothers him, especally if a snack is forthcoming.
Muffin is the lionhead lop. She’s about 7 months old now. My husband recieved her as a gift from a patient around Christmas time, a little tiny thing. She was spayed last month. No problems there. Muffin is a firebrand, small and feisty. She loves to run, jump, and dig. She isn‘t a real snugglier, she‘d rather chew a hole in her cardboard box or jump on the furniture. But she loves Floppy. She follows him, grooms him, sleeps with him, absolutely adores him. Floppy’s laid back nature goes well with all of her energy. She runs around and plays with her toys, and he sits and watches.
Well I guess thats a good intro. I’m looking forward to posting in the future.
