Thanks for the compliment! I noticed your in Ohio, I am from Mason, tho I live in NC now. But anyways,
This is not my first bunny but the first I actually have had to litter train my self. We had one other bunny that just seemed to get it right off the bat. I grew up with rabbits but they were always outside.
So this is my first attempt to litter train my self. I am fostering another bunny that is litter trained for the most part but he pees on the floor on occasion but I think its more because he is not neutered yet and its a little bit. So I think its marking more than anything. Now its worse since bringing the new guy home. We fostered in the mean time because we waited 5 monthes on a waiting list to get Capt. Jack because we could not find any to rescue in this state. The rescues around here dont get them hardly ever and I have wanted a flemish for about 5 years now.
So that is our short version story.
Thanks for the direction. And I tried moving his litter pan to an awkward position in his cage and he has not gone on the floor and when I saw him pee I gently praised him and stuck my hand down and he bumped my hand so I petted him. So I hope this is working. The litter pan looks weird in there at an angle but if it works we will do it.
Thanks again!
PS: My daughter named him, we love the trilogy. I happen to be a fan of Orlando and Keira, but my daughters both like JD as Capt. Jack. And we thought it would be fun to name it that, cause we are all about having fun.
