  Well I must be close to it anyways .. I have had 2 massive bites off Luey this week … one on my poor index finger which broke the skin and bled and now this one on my butt … yes not funny ladies. The butt bite really hurt … oh it was not one of those nips but a big chomp!
  
  I was sitting on the floor and he came over for a head pet … put his little cute head on my lap … so sweet … but not for long though.
  
  I sat with him for a few minutes, just petting his head and talking to him … when I got up to leave him he lunged out and bit my butt. OUCH! Big time. That hurt so much my poor butt came up in a bruised welt. I have this slight red mark with teeth holes there today.
  
  Oh he just sat there and looked at me with this face … huh huh you think you can just get up from my head pets and leave … (oh I need a BunnyPea here … Luey with big teeth) … mmm who was doing those Bunnypeas …
  
  He is now confined to his pen … !!!!!!!!!!!!!
  
  I can understand why the previous owners did not want him anymore …..

  The only reason I don’t have more marks from Dono is that I”ve learned to read his body posture when he’s about to bite. He is not a big markusdark fan – not in the least.

  Oh no!! Bunny bites definitely hurt!! Watch for the “I’m gonna bite you posture” Head down, ears back, tail down…If it consoles you I got some “exploratory bites’ from a baby horse on the weekend!! Cute, but really ouchy!!

  Oh I can totally sympathize with the butt bite! Bailey didn’t bite me in the butt but in another very sensitve area. I’m not even sure why he did it. I was on my hands and knees in the livingroom doing something and he came zooming under me, stopped under my chest, and bit. I don’t recall there being holes in the shirt but there were in me, and bleeding, and man that hurt for a few weeks!

  LOL…Maybe he thought you were giving him bunny butt! Shadow, steps back, has a think then nips. He wants your full attention when he bites.

  I can sympathize! I have a Bindi Loo bit that is healing. It was totally my fault though. I was cleaning up Olivia’s pee on the floor and then stuck my hand in Bindi’s cage to get his litter box. He freaked I guess and bit me!!! I learned my lesson there.

  Before his neuter, I was branded with bunny teeth quite often from Mimzy. Only once did he break skin. But I think my hand coming away and my loud “OUCH!” was enough to let him know that it wasn’t nice to do. Although I’d get no end of the stink eye afterwards. Usually I was cleaning in an area he really didn’t want my hand in. As we’ve come along, he’s learning to trust me more and is okay with me putting my hand in his sleeping area.
  
  Still can’t get him to stop nipping and digging at me when I hold him though. He’s definitely still got limits to his patience there.
  I’m so sorry Luey bit you. I can imagine how painful that is. >.< I'd keep an eye on him, and make sure he doesn't have a little list in front of him thinking of ways to get you back for the solitary confinement though. 0.o;

  MizyMum : Mmm I can see Luey conjuring up some payback action … last night he was sitting behind his box and all I could see was one of his ears sticking out from the side … he generally does not sit there but lays stretched out in front of his pen … I guess he is up to no good.
  
  Needless to say, this morning my butt is feeling normal!!!!!!!!!!!
  
  I need eyes in the back of my butt LOL.

  oh no, you poor thing, I couldn’t help laughing when someone said you must have shown Luey some bunny butt and he was insulted. My Lola is bad about giving me a boobie nip everynow and then, even when she’s the one to jump up on me.

  ooouchy. i can sympathize. i have wee bruises all over me from bunny nips… they HURT! fortunately none have broken skin. pinky still doesn’t realize that she’s too aggressive – she nips for attention / when i stop petting her / when one of my limbs is in her way…
  
  tuesday i got bitten by baby multiple times when we were at the vet’s & waiting for themto bring back her carrier. she was verrrry ticked. lol. she bit whichever arm was blocking her from the edge of the exam table & periscoped up on my chest & bit my breasticle. not fun.

  Mimzy and I have been trying to have cuddle sessions in the evening. Lately he is getting bold and turning around on my chest quite often, digging and then biting. I must look like a great pile of dirt for him to dig in.
  I try to stop him and he grabs my finger with his teeth. Doesn’t bite, just holds it till I pull it back as if to say, “HEY! Move it or lose it!!”
  
  lolz, Kathy. Maybe there are some advantages to having had a double mastectomy. Luckily I didn’t have any of those parts to get bitten by the time Mimzy appeared in my life. But I can imagine how much of an OW that is! >_<

  The first time I ever held Heathcliff, he was so sweet and docile and loving that I thought he’d always be like that. WRONG! I tried that once he got used to his new home and he was sweet and docile….until lay down for him to jump off. He gave me the stink eye, then promptly bit my boob. Right on the nipple. VERY painful. I had the mark for weeks; everyone I told thought it was hilarious.
