I got him/her from a man whos bunny had babies because he thought
they were both male. oops. Turned out one of them is a female. So she
had 5 bunnies and I brought one of the 3 month olds home with me today.
He said they are still too young to find out of they are male or female.
I am putting him/her in seperate area from Floppy until I get the baby looked
at and fixed. Should I be able to tell what sex he/she is? I have yet to give
him/her a name because I am still thinking about it and also not knowing the
sex doesn’t help. I will wait until he/she is fixed and healed and then try the
whole bonding process…let the games begin…again! What I do know is
he/she is a lionhead mix. Didn’t see any male parts, so thinking it’s a she
for now. Thinking about the name Toki for now since it sounds unisex.

Oh you lucky bun mum! *mouth drops open* That is the coolest looking bun! I’ve never seen a lionhead cross with black and white coloring before!
WAAAHHH! I want one! *sniffles* How many were in the litter total? (not that I could even have one, but I’m just curious)
Toki sounds like a fine name!
There should be a link around here somewhere for sexing bunnies….I used to have it, now I lost it.

You can try sexing yourself, it’s a bit difficult but it’d be fun (to me anyways) to sex and then have it confirmed/disproved when the vet does it
You lightly lightly press just above the genitals and the penis should pop out if he has one. Also basically it’s a circle opening (like a cheerio) for a boy and a slit for a girl. Girls will pop up a bit though when pressed so that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a boy. Basically it’s carefully seeing if it’s a cheerio shape or a slit. -

My bf bought Toki this huge 2 level cage that was sale at Pet food express!!!
It was 75% off! It was 109.00 and it went down to 27.00 It’s the bestest deal I have
ever seen for a cage, usually small hamster cages go for that much or even more!
So excited. He is happy …happier than being in that fish tank thing he was stuck in
with his siblings. Toki is doing binkies and being his hoppity self, although we still
have lots of bonding to do. Some new pictures from yesterday:

ok just kidding I think Toki is a girl now. LOL
Here is a picture, I am not sure if you can tell, but I was told she/he
is about 2-3 months old, I am thinking she(?) is closer to 3 months
old. I included a picture if anyone wants to chime in. Thinking about
going to FOLT’s tomorrow and seeing if one of the bunny expert
volunteers can help me figure it out. OH and thanks for the link btw!!!
