  My little Holand Lop, who is just 25 weeks old, has just become (out of nowhere) VICIOUS! Whenever I take her out of her cage, she:
  
  A.   Goes under my bed, where it is EXTREMELY difficult to get her out.
  
  B.   Goes to my bookcase, where she likes to hide under the clutter of stuffed-animals (I have a ton of stuffed-animals for no reason at all…hehehe)
  
  And she’s started to like dig in her cage, which gets really annoying, because she partically likes to do it at 5:50 AM (or earlier)!! Then she makes a HUGE mess in her cage, which I have to clean up several times a day!
  
  That’s not all. Whenever I try to fix her cage up after she’s made a mess of it, she tries to bite me sometimes! One time she time she LUNGED at me, bit me, and would not let go! (Luckily, she did not break the skin, but she did leave a mark!) Whenever I try to pick her up, she either runs away from my hands or tries to bite me.
  
  My bunny has not been spayed yet (Yes, she is a girl), but is going to be this coming Tuesday. Do you think after her operation she will be nice again to me???

  Yes I think she will calm down a lot! She sounds very hormonal to me. I would suggest not invading her space. Try cleaning her cage when she’s not in it. These guys can be very possessive of their “stuff”! Right now don’t pick her up. Be patient after her spay – it takes a few weeks for the hormones to die down. Hopefully you will see a more relaxed happier bun! Good luck

  the spaying will decrease those unwanted behaviors. it may be instantaneous, it might take 1-2 months. but it should get better.

  Welcome to bunny puberty! Spaying will definitely help but give it some time after – it won’t happen overnight, but it will improve. Bunnies can also be very cage territorial so try to clean it only when she is not in it.

  yeah… the cage territorialness may never diminish. some buns are always touchy about their space.

  Definitely the bad behaviors will diminish but she may always be territorial about her cage. Can she get in and out of it on her own? Some people teach their bunnies “bed time” so they’ll go in on there own, and then just open the door to let them out when it’s “play time”
