Yeah, sometimes something on the TV will spook my buns and they shoot straight up and sit there looking petrified for a moment, lol.

Spike TV recently ran some sort of Star Wars marathon (I swaer there was a movie on EVERY DAY and of course my hubby had to watch them all – multiple times!) and every time Chewbaca would talk, our little Ella would go on high alert and periscope with her ears all up and eyes all wide.

We always have a lot of commotion with dogs, cats and the BF’s drumming practice so Shadow pays no attention to the tv or phones. Now the sound of the baby gate being unlatched or his hay bin being opened….that is a whole nother story…he will come flying out of nowhere.

Well…my dog does…The funniest, she was a puppy and we were watching psycho and my dog was sooo upset during the stabbing scenes, she would attack the tv and she was fussing and crying…Then years and years later there was a commercial with the psycho music on, no matter where she was in the house she’d come RUNNING to the TV to attack it!

(She always attacks animals and bad guys on the tv, but the memory of the music was pretty incredible)

that’s so funny! it’s amazing how buns (all animals really) react to certain sounds. if Meadow is scratching on the couch and i’m on the computer, she knows the sound the chair makes when i stand up (it’s one of the airlifty chairs so there’s a noise) and she will immediately stop and get off the couch.
