Some of you might know Nadia from Save A Bunny.
Well we were over the other day while she and Tippy (the other legged bun) were out exercising. I have to say, it is quite cute watching the two of them chasing one another with their leg out to the side. After watching them for a bit, my girlfriend decided that she wanted to introduce her bun, Fitzgerald, to Nadia. We came with him the next day and put the two of them in an x-pen together. Although not love at first sight (especially since Fitz is twice the size of Nadia), all of the regular bonding stuff was happening. Fitz was chasing her and got a mount or two in there, Nadia was trying to get away but only out of humping distance. Soon, instead of mounting, Fitz was giving Nadia the occasional kiss. Nadia didn’t really seem interested until the humans left the area Then, we caught her grooming Fitz while he was relaxing in her cardboard house.
By the end of the day, they were just hanging out, Fitz flopping happily, both of them sharing nibbles from the same hay rack and so on. Now, we are slowly working on her roommate to see about letting the lil’ girl into their lives.
