Within the last few days we have SEEN mice.  I’m sure it’s been  on going since we have been in our new home (6 month’s) because shadow thumps at night (I think she hears them.) Is it ok to have shadow out playing (of course with us being home)??

I feel bad keeping her in the cage, I feel bad  because that is her routine (come out & play after dinner) but I don’t want any harm. I think a few weeks ago she saw one, because she freaked out, ran into the dining room and started thumping (a good 10 minutes).

Yeah, it should be Okey, both mice and bunny will avoid one another. Just expect a thumping routine every night.

            Hey jpgood,

I would think the mice would avoid a rabbit who was out of a cage.

My experience with mice is that they come inside when it is cold outside. Where do you live? Is it a house or apartment? Did one of your neighbors recently exterminate?

We had a problem with mice in our old house because my husband had rented the house out for a while: the tenants were active members of Peta. They actually fed the field mice! The only way we were able to get rid of the mice – was to move out of the house & sell it.

well shadow came out last night. she was looking all around (like she heard the mice). Everthing was cool.

We live in a one family house. Having Terminex coming in Wed. for pest treatment. A neighbor had said a house away had mice, i think they migrated to ours, noone lived in ours for a few months before us. Hopefully it’ll all get solved.

It just makes me peranoid, thinking I’m seeing one or my wife or shadow do.
