  Hmm….So I observed something pretty strange yesterday and I don’t know if it’s a sign of Kokanee’s super intelligence or just plain weirdness
  
  So, I had scattered some grapes on the floor for the girls to find and eat, and that’s when I saw it. Kokanee would sit on her rear haunches and used her PAWS TO HOLD THE GRAPE SHE WAS EATING!! I saw it twice!!
  
  What do you guys think!?!? Crazy huh?

  That’s total intelligence because when I give Edson a round piece of WASHED carrot he has a hard time getting it. It keeps scooting around. Now did I read grapes were bad for bunnies…or maybe I just read they are bad for dogs. I have to find where I read that…

  Just bad for dogs actually, they can cause liver failure-raisins too; In high quantity but to be avoided

  either grape here n there are fine. mine loves them and blueberrries. I have to go light on them tho. oh he even gets frozen blueberries and eats those he likes them cold I put them in his carrot basket and he waits a bit til they soften up which isn’t long and then it is gone.

  I often gave red or green grapes, usually cut in half to make it easier to grab. (Not knowing that peeling a grape for me would be an option. )
  
  …Kokanee just borrowed my car keys. Seems you’ve run out of grapes…

  Ok, another thing (I do think she’s ridiculously smart-annoying I know-I’m sorry! )
  
  At my house, she knows what the fridge is (like most rabbits) I think she happened to be close to it and I fed her food, and now she runs up whenever I open the door and begs for food (which I give because it’s cute and I want her to keep doing this…)
  
  So, I moved them to my parents house for a bit, last week. Their fridge looks nothing like mine-yet she was able to transfer her idea of fridge and she (on the first day) came zooming out of nowhere when I opened the fridge to beg for food!!

  yeah thats one smart cookie k&k! neither of my buns know that food comes from the fridge… altho i think pinky may very well catch onto that eventually.

  Pepper figured out her second day with me that veggies come from the fridge. I was hand-feeding her (trying to bond) and held up my empty hands and said “all gone!”
  
  She ran over to the fridge and stood up. She looked at me, then at the fridge, then at me again. I could see her thinking “What are you, stoopid? They are in HERE!!!”

  i want to try and teach Mead about the fridge. she is scared of it, kind of… i think the big swinging door freaks her out. maybe i need to leave the door open for a minute and dangle some veggies over the edge… lol!

  I wish the door freaked Kokanee out, Beka!! she will not move out of the way of doors, and if any are not closed properly she opens them herself LOL

  uurrghh i hate that! our living room door didnt have a catch so it wouldnt shut properly you could only push it too (we have one on there now thank god!) and our buns or dogs would just walk into it and push it open which let all the heat out and annoyed the crap outta me >.< lol
