I’m just not sure how to properly go about this.

As you all saw in the other post, my realtor’s dog was hit by a car last night and so we were unable to go sign the papers of my accepted price to the sellers – though my realtor promised she would call the sellers and tell them I accepted.

Now…I want to get these things signed…like, soon…so I know for sure I’m moving into this house… (granted we have to do financing and all that but…) anyway…

I want to call my realtor… but (1) I don’t know if her dog survived the night and (2) How in the world do I ask to come and sign the final papers?

I know this is a matter of putting business before personal issues, but I just…don’t really know how to ask. Like, should I call her and ask how the dog is….and then ask about signing things? Or…what if the dog died? How do I go into saying “I need to sign things?”

        Ergh…help?

What about calling the Manager at the realtor’s office and tell him/her your predicament.  You do need to get those papers signed off. The manager maybe can fill in temporarily.  The last thing you want is for the sellers to go accept another offer.  Are there any others?

I called the assistant realtor who works with mine as a team; she said that my realtor’s dog made it through the night (yay!!!) and that she can take me through signing the papers. I’m heading over after my class at noon!

Glad her dog is okay! Glad you are getting your paperwork taken care of too.
