  you’ll remember in this thread i had a scare b/c Meadow’s weight dropped way down, almost a half pound in a month’s time. https://binkybunny.com/Default.aspx?tabid=54&forumid=1&postid=33184&view=topic
  
  just a recap:
  
  beginning of January wieght was 3.78 lbs
  
  end of February weight was 3.38 lbs
  
  she had another nail trim on friday. originally i was going to take her in a couple weeks after her last weigh-in to see if she had gained weight, but she was acting fine, eating normally, so i decided to wait a bit longer. the nurse weighed her and her weight was at 3.64 lbs. so it’s almost back where it was before this scare. i’m not surprised she’s gained some back. altho her pellets are very limited, she eats betw/ 2 & 3 cups of veggies a day. so in short… i am confident that everything is going to be just fine with her.
  
  i really appreciate everyone on here who calmed me down after this. i was an absolute mess thinking there was something wrong with my baby who was not even a year old yet. THANK YOU!

  yay for meadow!!! thats great news beka. it’s really easy to get worked up into a tither when your furbaby’s health may be in question isn’t it?

  Glad to hear Meadow is back on track weight wise. LOL its all muscle. I don’t blame you for being concerned…I know from my own experiences, the more you know about rabbits, the more you have to worry about.

  Maybe she came to her senses. Did you leave any magazines around with those anorexic fashion models in them for her to chew? She might be unduly influenced, being a young lady. Give her a talk about how a round snuggly bunny is the cutest. Show her some of the happy bonded pairs on this website.

  this sounds like a dumb question – but was it the same exact scale all three times? it almost makes me wonder if it was incorrectly calibrated during her second visit.

  that was what someone else asked before. it was the same scale in the same room we always go in for the trims. i know she had lost weight b/c i lifted her afterwards (the visit where she lost weight) and i noticed she felt quite a bit lighter. i really never carry or lift her so i had not noticed it before. but now she’s feeling hefty again. ;o) and she’s eating like a cow.
