How sweet! ^^ When we first moved to Alaska, we took on a set of baby goat brothers. There was a brownish one and a white one. The white one was Tippy and the brown one Choccie (short for Chocolate of course). The first thing Choccie did was to try and headbutt our german shepherd.
They were real cute until they started leaping up on the hood of my husband’s Blazer, pooping all over the porch and eating out of the chicken feed bucket at any opportunity. Tippy got it stuck on his head once and it totally covered his field of vision and Choccie had to come get me to show that his brother was in trouble. I swear! Choccie came to the back door and bleated his butt off until I came out there to see poor Tippy with the bucket over his head and wandering around the back yard like, “Hey! Who put out the lights??”
They were adorable, but we had no place to put them when winter came, so we had to give them to a neighbor. Our chickens too. It was kind of sad.
The only thing that creeps me out about goats is how their pupils dilate in the sun to those little coin slot type slits, you know? A cat’s pupils at least still make it look somewhat softened in appearance, but a goat’s look too much like a snake’s pupils to me. Weird! >_<
You can’t see that in these piccies though. Beautiful photography, LPT! And what adorable subjects! ^^
