Yup major sign of affection…It usually takes time, dont’ worry Maddison will come around. Maddisson is likely just thinking she’s high bunny on the totem pole. High bunnies do not groom, only lowly bunnies groom high bunnies (usually) so that may be why or it may just take her longer to settle in!

Edson does this too.  I guess it’s affection!  We are lucky!

I snuck my hand under Pepper’s face while I was petting her, and tricked her into giving me bunnykisses!

i don’t get groomed by Meadow, but obviously she’s the Queen Bun. she will groom my pillowsand the couch tho… does that count?

I mostly get Bunny Head Butts.

A few days ago I put my face up to Kay’s & she sniffed my mouth – looked just like she was kissing me! She did it twice. I’m going to have to see if J can get a photo.

I have noticed that both Kay & Winston groom the teddy bear in their Pen. They must love their Teddy!

Kimberlyanddarren…Why don’t you do this bonding technique…Smear some banana on your hand and put it in the ‘asking for grooming position’ and see if you get kisses?

When I was foolish enough to feed Mimzy those Yogie treats, he would kiss my hand after I’d given him one because he could still smell it on my hand. However, we never got into the habit of ‘learning’ that as a trick.
Nowadays all I get is the bunny butt. *sniffle*

Cadbury is a crazy kisser! She is always licking my hands, face, etc. Also, I don’t know how she learned this, but if I’m lying on the floor or couch and she wants head pets, she runs up and puts her nose right against my lips and just stays there until I start petting. Then I get the tooth purr. Very, very, cute, but definitely an invasion of personal space!

Awwww! *swoons* Is there any question as to how a sweet bunny like this ended up with the name “Cadbury”?
You guys are making me so jealous! >.< Oh I wish Mimzy was less stingy with his affections! ;_;

Don’t feel too jealous, Cadbury definitely has her moments! I think she tries to be extra cute to make up for all her mischief.

Leo does this all the time….but he does it to anything/ everything!  He has 2 stuffed animals that he licks.  I always thought it was a stress kinda thing w/ him.  Then I thought maybe part of the problem was b/c of his teeth and he couldn’t really bite and would get his oral fix by just licking.  I’ve always called it bunny kisses, so its good to know that it really is a bunny kiss.

DJ and Deanna are big kissers, particularly DJ.  Deanna has an unfortunate tendency to try to help me by pulling off my eyebrows.  Ouch!  Curly Sue is much stingier with her kisses, you can pet her for 15 minutes and then get one little lick on the nose as a thank you.

Those of you that get kisses are super lucky! The only one that grooms me is Nilla Bean, and she only does so once and awhile, and it is usually only my toes! The rest of my bunnies flick me off if I dare ask for grooms from them

Holly kisses me too. She’ll sometimes nip and i’ll make a noise and she’ll lick where she nipped. It’s funny.well sort of. It hurts too.

What the heck are bunny kisses!  … To get a kiss off Luey … HUH you must be kidding right … that is definitely not in his vocabulary .. hey I have one fluff ball who is way high up on that totem pole and he would not budge for anything .. I am the groomer and slave here (more silly me!).

Spockie was a big kisser, but then I picked up the poor guy at least twice a day, held him and gave him a bunch of kisses on his neck every time!

He liked to lick pillows and couches too.

Might try getting down on the floor and presenting yourself low for grooming, then ignore your bun. See if he comes over to assist you with kisses. Wipe your hand over your face a couple of times, so he knows you need a bath!

Last night J (husband) & I were in the middle of the Bun Zone when he gave me a hug & a kiss. I suddenly felt a tug on my pants. It was Kay!

I think she was saying, “Can I get in on some of this loving?” So, of course, she got pets & snuggles too.

I just get the hand nudge…”helloooo I’m right here….pet me!!!” otherwise the only things that get
bunny kisses around here are the stuffed animals and the cat scratcher stool looking thing that I bought for
him to lay on and jump up and down with…

We had a huge breakthrough last night.

Pepper actually presented for pets!  Smushed her head down and looked up at me.

Now this is the bun who woudln’t let me touch her at all for the first 6 months and has only reluctantly decided that head-pets might be okay in the past 4.  She’s been with me for a year and a half.

So don’t give up – it can happen!

Ok I’ll get out my bunny ears and bunny outfit and wait patiently on the floor for Luey to maybe come over and have a looksie LOL.  Mmm I might get attacked even more!

Oh or if anything I might frighten the nosey neighbours off.

I had a cat that used to get completely freaked out if I wore rabbit ears or my Micky mouse ear hat.  She’d get all puffy and hide.  She’d peeked out for the occassional glance, mostly to see where I was going, and would let out a creepy growl/yelp.  She would return to normal and soon as you take the ears off.  It was CRAZY!  W/ that said, you might not want to put on your playboy bunny uniform just yet.  Wendz:  Glad to hear you’ve finally been accepted by your bun.

I have a white dwarf bunny named Snappy. She is 8 years old & I received her when her bunny daddy left for his plastic surgeon fellowship. After a year she runs to the door when she hears the alarm sound & about two months ago she started to push her nose up when I kissed her, either saying get away or I figured it was a kiss. But last week she actually started licking me, she only licks my lips though, nowhere else & she has a salt wheel. Her dad informed me that she never licked him in the 7 years of having her! She also will now jump up on my bed and sleep with me threw the night. I think it means she loves you because most bunnys never lick anything but themselves 😉
