Lulla’s doing great! Thanks for asking! We’re having a slight problem with chewing carpet though…she’s already gotten a hole in it, and since my aunt and uncle hate her I’m kind of worried if they notice it. I’ve put 2 blankets down underneath her pen area and she digs it ups and chews through it. I went around looking for reasonably priced linoleum/tile/something to put under it but i haven’t found anything. So for now, every time I see her starting to dig at the blankets and bite at them I spray her with water, and she usually takes off to her cage. My goal is she’ll stop doing it altogether although that looks to be impossible. I have seen her do it less though. The biggest problem is she does it at night time, and I haven’t been sleeping well because I’ve been trying to listen for her. I’m up almost every hour spraying her. lol I haven’t seen her really do it in the day time, and when I’m gone and come hope the blanket isn’t usually bunched up. She sleeps usually while I’m gone, so I think she thinks i need to sleep the same time she does.
Anyway! LoL! I went out and got that furminator dillio… Its amazing. It was friggen $40 though! For the small one! I about died I think. I went ahead and got it anyway because the molting is getting worse and doesn’t look like its ending soon. I’ve LITERALLY been choking on hairballs! Last night I woke up choking because I rolled over on a spot she was laying at on my bed where her hair rubbed off on and started choking for like 10 minutes. Now i really know how cats feel. LoL!
Also, while I was at the petstore I picked up a lint roller in the dog section. My lint roller was about out, and it was just one from wal-mart. I know they are a little more expensive at the pet store, but I was there, and I needed it. So I used it after I used the furminator and OMG! It works so much better! I assume its because it’s specifically designed for removing pet hair, but it only took me 1 sheet to get all the fur off my shirt and 1 for my jeans. I was using the regular one more frequently and you couldn’t even tell I just looked like a rabbit myself. Anyway, just a suggestion for those of you who are struggling with pet hair on your clothes/furniture.
