  wowee I been wanting to start a garden but out back my apt. fire ants galore. so today I saw a bunch of pots with dirt in then being thrown out and one of those long short kinds too with dirt. good dirt. so I gathered them all up 4 big ones and the long narrow one. brought them upstairs to my porch and got the roots of the previous junk out and planted radishes and beets for the greens on top for my buns cooll I am so excited. I go to plant myself some bellpepper and doggon the bag was empty HUBBY!!!! I am goign to go get me some tomato seeds adn bellpepper seeds for us humans and some carrots to for the tops the baby carrots are so sweet and tasty too I grew some when I was young and the tops were so huge I just knew they were ready so I would pull 1 up and be the size of my pinky hehee. talk about sweet tho.

  What a great idea! And all the pots and dirt were there for your taking. Freebies!
  
  I love to potter around in my garden … Its been so hot this summer that I did not bother planting any petunias … they usually do well but with our water restrictions, I did not bother.

  oooh nice score with the free pots & soil! i’m itching to start growing something indoors… wonder if it’s too late to start from seeds? anyways… good luck with your potted garden!

  It was meant to be! That’s a great thing bunnytowne! I’m still waiting until it is safe to start seeds outside.
