This is more of a “gosh, how stubborn can a bunny be?” post more than anything! Belle (aka Princess bunny) has been thumping at night and waking up my downstairs neighbour repeatedly. My neighbour is super nice (we swap bunny and cat sitting duties when we are away), so I know she is tolerant about the “thumps”. We’ve had a full and very bright moon this week, so I think that made Belle worse with her thumps. Anyway, I decided to relocate Belle away from the part of the living room that is over the neighbour’s bedroom and pen it off at night (Belle is free range), so that her night time thumps were less annoying and I didn’t make my neighbour move from lack of sleep! Belle – being a stubborn bunny – refuses to poop in her new litterbox location and waits until the morning – when I undo the pens and she is free to roam the whole living room. I just find it hard to believe that she won’t use another poop location until she has access to the old “spot” – and yes, I have tried multiple boxes and scattering poops in them. She clearly just likes the old corner that is off limits from 10pm – 7am! Does anyone else have stubborn bunny experiences??
