So Piccolino is getting back to his normal self although he doesn’t seem to be eating his pellets, but is eating greens and a little bit of hay. Hi poos are small and weird shaped (kind of like a teardrop). This is ok right, I figured as long as he’s pooping he is fine? Thanks.

Don’t know why it’s that shape. Poops should be nice and round. He definitely needs to be eating a lot more hay. Is it that he is picky?

he was just neutered right? the abnormal poops are not uncommon when there’s been an upset to the GI tract like that. I am glad he’s eating the veggies, but as knowtons mentioned hay is the BEST thing to get him back on track. Maybe try several small hand fulls of hay every day, since hay in infinitely more exciting when it hasn’t been sitting around in their house.

Yeah he was neutered on Friday. And he normally LOVES hay, but has just been nibbling a little. A saw him eating a bit more hay last night after I posted this. . Thanks. I will just keep a watch on him
