We got back later last night than expected.  We decided to go grocery shopping, so we could have more free time on Easter Sunday.  When we got home last night, she acted happy to see us. She even binkied.  She was ok. This morning she has been very playful.

Before we left, I was getting a worried about her behavior. Most of you know about her issue with sore hawks. I was always checking on them and putting medicine on them.  Then with grooming, trimming nails, and other monthly matenance she was kind of acting afraid of me.  Not all the time.  She’d still request head pets. 

Well, last night, I visited her and she sprawled out in front of me like ok pet me now!  It was so cute. She stayed there for like 15 minutes.  This morning, she was back to packing her hay all around her cage.  She hasn’t done that since me combined her exercice pen and her cage.  I picked up a tail and she took a corner of it and was hopping everywhere with it. She’s never done that. It was kind of funny. 

My hubby and I think that the time away from her was good for both of us.  On the way home from tampa last night, we were talking how having Holly has been a work in progress. We still have a lot to learn, but I am happy with the results.  It is a fun adventure for sure!
