We use regular kitten harnesses. Getting them on the bunnies is NOT easy. They all loathe the process and can sense when we’re opening the drawer in which they’re kept, at which point they run. Catching them is actually the really tough part. Once we have them, we turn them over and try to trance them and slip it on before they wise up. This is often a two-person job.
Tegan really didn’t have any clue what snow was about. Bailey has been in snow before, although not this winter, and dug himself a pretty sizable hole. Then he realized he couldn’t hop out! These photos were taken in mid-January when there was more snow cover here than there is now, we just haven’t gotten around to getting stuff off the camera til now.
The other two bunnies we left in the house: Reno’s pretty antisocial to people at any rate, and we couldn’t find the third harness for Aeryn. Besides, handling three bunnies on leashes with only two people gets pretty complicated!
