        Bindi bit me last night!!!

My sweet little snuggly lop totally went crazy on me last night! Usually when I clean his cage with the litter pan he sort of growls at me and lunges but I just shove him away and he chills. Last night after about a 20 minute grooming session (which probably explains the crankiness) he bit me while I was cleaning his cage. I was absolutely shocked.

I can’t believe how sharp those little lettuce chompers are! He cut my finger about 2 inches and actually severed a chunk of my nail!

It’s weird. Stormy is aggressive but never bites. 2 seconds after Bindi bit me he was all sweet and snuggly again. No more cleaning the cage when he’s in a bad mood!

ouchies! some bunnies get very territorial when their house is being changed. he’s neutered right?
bunnies homes are their safe haven and they are often very protective of it. Since you’re seeing this only when cleaning his house – I would recommend if possible moving him out of the way if possible while cleaning his house – like into an x-pen or your bathroom. getting bit is no fun

Cotton will growl at me if I clean her cage with my hands- but if I vacuum the coroplast bottom she does not care at all- she will flop and ignore.  I was surprised the first time she growled- but I understood why.
