My Rucy seems to always blend into things.   Her gray fur can make her difficult to see when lights are low. I’ve made a habit of shuffling along.  Most of the time I accidentally kick a shoe that’s flung in the middle of the room or hallway, and I ALWAYS think it could be Rucy,and I freak out.   I guess we should pick up our shoes.  I could save myself a heart attack or two.

Nova sounds like Viktor – I’ve “lost” him too, since he’s mostly black!

lol Truffles is a tort so he gets kind of a camouflage effect in low light too. also although I can mostly hear him thumping his way across the linoleum sometimes he moves so quickly and silently that I have no idea where he is, start looking for him everywhere, turn around and then suddenly he is right behind me! Freaks me out every time lol.

I had a blue catahoula hound and a white boxer. after my back surgery I would get up in the night and I couldn’t see Odie the blue hound I would trip right over her. and spar the white boxer outside on moonlite nights she would glow in the dark like. was cool.   ohhh I saw a solid gray lionhead today ohhh I want him so bad. at the pet store tho. he is so cute. I held him today. oh dear. and I can only have 1 rabbit here. agh it is killing me. well cotton would be jealous and probably bite him anyway.   yeah that would scare me thinkijng I just kicked bun across the room. phew. Cotton hides good too he is white with some gray so when he hides it is usually cuz he made his way behind the couch. I had to restuff pillows and the couch cover back there so he can’t get thru. so much for using the couch cover on top of the couch. I guess it’s intended purpose is actually stuffed between the couch and the wall
